MP Namal Rajapaksa has been sworn in as the State Minister of Digital Technology and Entrepreneur Development. The Minister took his oath before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday (03). In addition to the Portfolio of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, MP Rajapaksa will now hold this new portfolio as well.
In a tweet posted yesterday,MP Rajapaksa stated that this new appointment makes it possible to collaborate youth entrepreneurship with technology, and “brings us a step closer to the digitalization of Sri Lanka”.
