FMCG Beverage Company donated three essential oxygen high flow machines to hospitals in Kuliyapitiya, Kurunegala and Nikaweratiya to provide oxygen to patients suffering from respiratory infections due to Covid19 virus..
These oxygen highflow machines worth Rs. 3.9 million were handed over to the Chief Pharmacist of the Kuliyapitiya Teaching Hospital, Mrs. Manjula Randunu, the Chief Pharmacist of the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital, Mrs. Malintha Jayalath and the Pharmacist of the Nikaweratiya Base Hospital Mr. G.L.D Thilanga. Action was taken to hand over the same at the same time.
Mr.Dusty Alahakoon, Ms.Maud Maijboom and Ms.Mayanthi Wickramatilleke on behalf of FMCG Beverage company made the donation with the technical assistance of the Biomedical Engineering Unit of the Ministry of Health.
