DFCC Bank recently signed an MoU with the Department for Registration of Persons (DRP), in order to improve their customer verification process.
The MoU gives DFCC bank the permission to access the online authentication system set up by the DRP and verify identification details; such as NIC details, making it possible to verify details immediately, as transactions take place.
This means that the bank will now be able to move all transactions online for ease and better accessibility and customers do not have to visit the bank, to carry out transactions physically.
