The Director General of the National Transport Commission Dr Thilan Miranda says that he is preparing to make recommendations to the secretary of the ministry of transport to revise the bus fares in line with the reduction of fuel prices. He further stated that fares could reduce by almost 2%.
Meanwhile representatives of the largest private bus owners associations are will be reduce prices according to national policy on bus fare revisions.
