Commercial Bank of Ceylon (ComBank) was recognised as the leading partner bank in Sri Lanka for trade and supply chain finance by the Asian Development Bank. ComBank recorded the highest number of transactions in Sri Lanka in the trade and supply chain finance domain between July 2021 and June 2022. ComBank was among 25 other banks that were recognised under ten categories at the Asian Development Bank’s ‘Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program’ (TSCFP) wards ceremony held recently in Singapore.
Commenting on the achievement Commercial Bank’s Chief Operating Officer Mr S. Prabagar said: “The ADB’s role as a provider of loans, technical assistance, grants and equity investments to promote social and economic development makes it an indispensable partner for Commercial Bank, which shares its commitment to promote prosperity and inclusivity.
